 Hopscotch Hopscotch (aka Hoppy) is a Maine Coon (we think) who was born missing a bone in his left front leg. He also has one femur slightly longer than the other. When we adopted him slightly less than 2 years ago we didn't know if he would ever walk. He was 2 months old at that time. Within a week he could scramble up onto a very high bed. Within 6 months he could, on a tether, climb 6 feet up a tree.
Today Hoppy is 2 years old. He favours the leg when he jumps uo or down, but he doesn't know that he has a problem. He gets along very well with my 3 other cats, and is a total joy to me. |
