Momo saved from dog fighters
Four years ago my daughter snatched my sweet boy when he was about 7 weeks old from dog fighters. The guy that had him was bragging on how he was going to make him a fighting dog for money. He was in a nasty cage covered in feces in a small apartment. I would normally not approve of dog snatching but in this case, I'm so proud of her. We love animals so much, more so than most humans. :-) Mocha (Momo) has the most loving, playful disposition. He sleeps right up against me every night, usually hogging my pillow. He follows me around everywhere. I can't leave the room without him following. He always wants to be around humans. He's so silly and wants to play all the time. I could go on and on about how great he is and what a blessing he's been to me. How could anybody want to turn such a sweet loving creature into a vicious dog? It's cruel people like that who give Pit Bulls a bad rap. These dogs don't start off mean (obviously), but they are taught to be mean. It's just tragic. I always stand up for the Pit Bulls as this is the 5th one I've had and they are gentle, loving dogs that are very misrepresented. This pic is of Momo and my granddaughter Kaydence. He's so tickled that she's there visiting. Look at his big smile! Help stamp out dog fighting. It's a horrible fate for such loving creatures. Kim Rowlett, TX
