 "Bristol the Pistol" Since our heritage is very British, we conducted careful research into selecting the most fitting breed for our family of two. Bristol is a 13-month-old English Springer Spaniel who has already earned his CGC and Therapy Dog certification thanks to a talented 18-year-old who trained him. Wouldn't you love to take your dog to work? Bristol goes to high school with me so that he may motivate students to read. He also visits libraries and hospitals to calm those around him. He is a remarkably mellow, calm puppy that we're wondering if, in fact, he may suddenly morph into one of Dante's "Hounds from Hell!" We have previously bred Neapolitan Mastiffs and German Shepherds; however, this Springer springs a foot into the air and really does hunt! Bristol runs between 3-5 miles a day with me, so perhaps tis exercise contributes to his mellowness. We're so blessed to have such a wonderful companion! |
