 A Merrier Xmas ! I lost both my parents in 2009 so I was not exactly looking forward to Xmas. A friend from high school called in early December and invited me to come to Michigan and spend Xmas with her and her family- and my two beagles, Kelly and Dazee, could come to. Never having driven that far with both dogs and in winter no less I was a little nervous but I packed up the car and we set off. All of us arrived safely. Between all the activities the dogs and I had time for leisurely walks, quiet time and best of all the chance to meet my friends grandchildren. The change of scene did us all good. My friend, Dede, made it a merrier Xmas for all three of us. |
